Last summer, I bought a Kyra Midi Dress from the Australian brand Daughters of India, and from the first minute I put it on, I knew it’d be one of my favorite pieces. Its midi length makes it so easy to wear and versatile, plus the flowy fit is beautiful. It’s also so lightweight and breezy that you almost feel like you aren’t wearing anything at all. So last weekend, when I put it on for the first time this year, I was thrilled to have it back in rotation. Here are a few other wardrobe staples I’m looking forward to wearing this spring and summer.
Do you wear wide-leg jeans? Personally, I couldn’t be happier to have wide-leg jeans back in style. I think they’re more comfortable than skinny jeans, and I just never loved skinny jeans in the first place. I ordered this pair from ASOS, and I think the light blue color is perfect for the warmer months. This off-white pair would also be great for brunch, movie dates, and a day at the museum.
A subtle pointelle pattern elevates a classic tank top or t-shirt, and I’ve spotted people wearing them more around town lately. You can pair pointelle tops with jeans, shorts, and skirts for add a charming vibe to any outfit. I just ordered this khaki/olive pointelle tank this week.
Another dress that I wear at least once a week is the Britt Tiered Maxi Dress by The Drop. I got it last summer too, and it’s so wearable. It’s a great length and easy to throw a sweater on over for cooler nights. I got it in black (also love this color) and like to wear it with my white Birkenstocks or a casual sneaker, like Supergas or Tretorns.
What pieces are reaching for from your closet these days? I’ve also heard great things about these jeans.
