For the past couple of weeks, Dan and I have been looking for some new furniture for our apartment. We’ve been scouring Craigslist while also keeping an eye out for sales at some of the more popular furniture stores like West Elm, CB2 and Raymour & Flanigan. Finally, last week, we found a few pieces on Craigslist that we thought deserved a look. We looked at two chairs and a twin sleeper sofa and ended up buying both of the chairs. Here’s one of the chairs we bought; it’s originally from Pier1 and still in great sharp. I’m not wild about the pattern of the fabric so I’m going to give reupholstering a try. Have you ever done any reupholstering? How did it go? My friend describes it as “a labor of love.” I love this fabric (and this one, too). I’ll need one of these and a rainy weekend. Can’t wait to show you all the results in a few weeks!
