Easter is almost here! Do you have plans? We typically have a chill morning and afternoon, followed by a nice dinner with friends and family. We also like to squeeze in an easy Easter-themed craft. For years, our go-to was dying eggs, but this year, I’m leaning towards toddler-friendly construction paper Easter crafts. Not only are they a cute way to celebrate Easter, but they’re also a relatively quick, budget-friendly craft.
I went down a rabbit hole last weekend looking for options, and if you’re looking too, here are a bunch of cute construction paper Easter crafts to try…
Easter Egg Ornaments
If you put up an Easter tree, these paper Easter egg ornaments (above) by Fireflies and Mud Pies make cute decorations to hang on your tree. Kids can paint or color the construction paper before making each egg, or make solid or muli-colored eggs with colored construction paper.
Easter Egg Name Puzzle
Name puzzles are a fun construction paper craft to do with kids, and the variations are endless. This pastel Easter egg name puzzle by How Wee Learn is a great craft for preschools this Easter.
Easter Bunny Corner Bookmark
Substitute construction paper for origami paper to make these DIY corner bookmarks by Easy Peasy and Fun. Kids will practice folding paper while putting their own creative spin on their bookmarks.
Easter Egg Wreath
If your kids love hanging something on their bedroom door, this cute Easter egg wreath by Simply Being Mommy is a great craft to try.
Easter Bunny Garland
This Easter bunny garland by DIY Candy is another craft that toddlers can help out with this Easter. I love holiday-themed garlands, especially ones you can reuse year after year.
Footprint Easter Bunny Cards
Footprint and handprint cards are an easy way to involve your infant or toddler in Easter crafts. You can make an adorable footprint Easter bunny, like this one by Fun Handprint Art, and turn it into a card for a loved one this year. There are also tons of printables that you can make cards with, like the adorable Hoppy Easter printable by PrintitoffShop shown above.
Which one is your favorite? I’m loving the garland and footprint card!
PS. A DIY eucalyptus centerpiece with upcycled wine bottles and DIY fabric-covered terra cotta pots.
These are adorable crafts and they seem very easy to do with the little ones! Keep up the good work.
Yes, perfect for little ones!
That Easter bunny bookmarker is beyond cute. A baby chick bookmark would be a cute idea too!
