Hi, hello! How are you?

Happy New Year, friends. After more than a year away, I’m getting back into writing here on the blog again. I have a bunch of fun posts coming up that I’m so excited to share with you, and I also can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to. In a way, this feels like getting back together with a really close friend I’ve had for decades but haven’t seen in a few years.

You might notice that the site looks a little different now if you’ve been here before (remember this version?). I made a few design tweaks over the past month, and my hope is that the site is easier to navigate and feels a bit fresher. Have a look around and let me know what you think.

It’s not lost on me that blogs are like the flip phones of the content creation industry. But the truth is, even after a couple of extended breaks from running this site — and a lot of thinking about whether or not it’s even worth it to have a blog anymore — I still really love blogging. Coming up with interesting ideas to write about and connecting with you in the comment section. Interviewing thoughtful people for posts and giving them a platform to share their stories. Taking and sourcing photos. Finding cool products. I love doing all this! 

So that’s my plan. To keep showing up here — to share ideas with the intent to connect.

And, who knows, maybe I’m onto something — if flip phones can come back, then there’s hope for blogs too :)
