Our Holiday Cards with Basic Invite

Holiday Card | Basic Invite | Happily K

Do you guys send out holiday cards? I love opening the mail to find holiday cards with sweet messages and photos from friends and family. I start working on our family holiday cards every year around this time. We’ve done Christmas cards in the past, but I’ve been gravitating toward New Year cards over the last several years. This year, I was excited when the folks at Basic Invite reached out to see if we’d like to check out their holiday cards.

Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their actual card before they place their final order. You can see the paper quality and how it will print, and make sure the card is perfect. This is really nice if you design your own Christmas cards and want to make sure they’re just right. I ordered a few samples, and I honestly love all of them — it’s hard to pick which one we like most.

Another thing I like about Basic Invite is how the website allows you to change the color of each element on the card, once you’ve selected a design. On each sample I ordered, I was able to make changes to the color of any text I wanted. With over 180 colors to choose from, you’ll be able to design the card to be exactly how you want it. They also offer foil cards in gold, silver, and rose gold, which are so cute. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of their foil designs.

How cool are the backs of our cards? This is another feature that Basic Invite offers that I haven’t seen from other online stationery companies. Depending on the year, we’ll write a little message on the back of our card, but it’s a nice option to have this fun printing feature too.

Basic Invite offers an address-capturing service that allows you to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media platform to request addresses from your friends and family. Such a smart timesaver! The addresses are stored in your account, and you can select to have them printed on your envelopes during the design process, which is a free service offered by Basic Invite.

Will you be sending holiday cards this year? Basic Invite is offering 15% off all holiday cards with code 15FF51. See all their cards here. Thank you, Basic Invite!

Check out Basic Invite on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter, if you’d like.

PS. Our stockings-only Christmas tradition and a case for putting up your Christmas decor early.
