Holiday Shopping Guide

December 9, 2014October 5, 2015 Kelley 2 comments

Today is gray and rainy, and Christmas is 16 days away (how did that happen?!), which brings me back to the holiday gift guide. Remember this post from a few days ago? Well, instead of curating a post with specific gifts, I’ve decided to start a list of some of my favorite shops (with a few item links) to help with the holiday shopping process (or any shopping process, for the matter). My plan is to update this list regularly, adding new shops to the mix as I discover/remember them. I’d love to hear your suggestions for places to shop! Please feel free to leave recommendations in the comment section.

For gifts for the home like candles, coffee mugs, kitchen trinkets, garden supplies, and more:

  • Anthropologie (we have the D and K monogram mugs and love them!)
  • Emily McDowell (for hilarious mugs, tote bags, note pads, and dish towels)
  • Terrain (for beautiful wreaths and anything a gardener could ever need/want)
  • Candelles (for mason jar candles that smell amazing; I love the Cinnamon Bun)
  • Urban Outfitters (for home decor, like this honeycomb wood shelf and this pretty linen duvet)
  • Amazon (for coffee and chocolate)
  • Zulily (for kitchen appliances and home decor. Tip: order early because shipping is slow.)
  • Etsy (for beautiful glass terrariums, colorful wooden spoons, and dipped twig pencils)

For clothing, shoes and accessories:

  • Madewell (because Transport Tote, denim and buffalo check)
  • J.Crew (their gift guide is one that I actually like!)
  • J.Crew Factory (for great ballet flats and discounted denim, also their kid’s selection is great)
  • Free People (for beautiful bohemian-inspired dresses and fall dresses and…basically everything else : )
  • Everlane (home of the perfect loafer)
  • Urban Outfitters
  • ASOS

For photo gifts like photo books, calendars, journals and notebooks:

  • Shutterfly (we’ve loved and ordered photo products from Shutterfly for years)
  • Artifact Uprising (love their Instagram Friendly Books)
  • Pinhole Press (for simple, elegant photo gifts; their kid collection is great too!)

For the little ones:

  • Wintercroft’s instant download animal masks (pictured above) that are fun projects too
  • Tattly (for awesome temporary tattoos!)
  • Brika (for sweet wooden toys)
  • The Land of Nod (for quirky table lamps, cute wall decals (like this adorable Hedgehogs in Love poster) and smart storage options)
  • Amazon (for books and toys for all ages)
  • Target (for anything)
  • Etsy (for Friendly Toys’ colorful, personalized wooden toys)
  • Zulily (for a huge selection of toys! Tip: order early because shipping is slow.)

RiflePaperCo_FloralPrint

For art and design gifts:

  • Rifle Paper Co. (for lovely floral art prints (pictured above) and awesome city prints)
  • Minted (a huge selection of limited edition art prints)
  • 20 x 200 (a past post with a few of my favorite prints from 20 x 200: here)
  • Brika (huge selection of beautiful prints for all budgets)
  • Etsy
    • Kelli Murray’s shop has beautiful, whimsy prints (great for nursery rooms and kid’s rooms)
    • Printable Wisdom (printable quotes, artwork, portraits, silhouettes, monograms, etc)
    • Print Stitch and Paste (adorable illustrations)

Happy shopping readers! xo

I’ll be updating the list, and of course, keep in mind that there are thousands of wonderful DIY gift ideas floating around the internet! :)

This is a great list! I shopped on Pinhole Press this year and especially love the kids’ mini book of names and faces and the personalized memory game. Also: their make your own beer labels are awesome!
I would suggest Zulily as another place to go for gifts for little ones, big ones and the home. Excellent deals but shop early because shipping is slow…

Thanks, Meg! And, yes! How could I forget about Zulily?! Thanks for the suggestions. I just added them. xo
