Did you see this recent article about landlocked beaches? Gulpiyuri Beach, only 40 meters in length, is in the middle of a green meadow near the town of Llanes in Northern Spain. Llanes is a coastal town, but Gulpiyuri Beach is 100 meters from the ocean shoreline. It’s technically a sinkhole, but it has waves. How cool is that?
It’d be fun to spend a day at a landlocked beach, don’t you think?
