This past June, we spent a week in Bar Harbor, Maine with Dan’s family. We strolled around downtown, rode bikes, went to brunch, stuck our toes in the freezing ocean, sipped fruity drinks, and just relaxed and enjoyed our time together. I thought I’d share a few photos if you’d like to see them…
One evening, we drove to Mount Desert Island and went to the top of Cadillac Mountain. The view of the coast was incredible, and the summit was a good place for Dan and his brother Mike to horse around! :)
Mike and his wife Keira.
It’d been a couple years since I’d been to Bar Harbor, so it was interesting to see how the town has changed. I spotted a few new shops and restaurants, and all the colorful fishing boats were fun to see.
This is Dan’s sister Meg and brother-in-law Pat with their son Sam. I tried to get a Christmas card photo for them, but Sam was feeling squirmy! ; )
We went out to dinner one night and the restaurant was right on the water. We dipped our toes in while waiting for our reservation.
Dan’s dad John with Sam, waiting for our dinner reservation.
And Dan’s mom Deb with Mike.
Some yummy frozen drinks!
Have you been to Bar Harbor before?
