Valentine’s Day Rocks

February 13, 2023February 13, 2023 Kelley 1 comment
Fingerprint heart rocks by Hello Wonderful.

Are you doing any Valentine’s Day activities with your little ones tomorrow? I was looking for some easy ideas over the weekend and came across these fun Valentine’s Day rocks.

Just collect some rocks from outside (or buy a bag from your local garden shop or order online, here and here), give them a rinse, and then put out markers or paint (glitter paint would be fun) and see what your little ones come up with. You could even wrap them up with tissue paper, old fabric, or pages out of a magazine or tape/glue stuff to the rocks if you wanted to try something other than markers or paint. Also, these could make great budget-friendly Valentine’s Day gifts for classmates if you’re looking for ideas.

Here are a few cute ones for inspiration…

Red, white, and pink Valentine’s Day rocks by alpha mom.

I love this black-and-white heart by Laura Kelly.

How adorable is this love bug and the heart fruit by Mother of Grom?

Love the colors on the Be Mine rock by Blossom Buttram.

Any other ideas for fun toddler activities for Valentine’s Day? Anyone doing any baking?

PS. Remember these colorful chalk mosaics? You could make a Valentine’s Day chalk mosaic using pink and red chalk, or try a heart-shaped mosaic. Kids love this activity!
